PMRGCAuk Liz Mitchell's Walk

PMRGCAuk Liz Mitchell's Walk

What an achievement for Liz Mitchell who reached the goal she set herself and walked 10 miles in the New Forest to raise funds for PMRGCAuk's first ever Fundraising Week. So far Liz has raised almost £550 but the final amount could rise significantly if you would like to add a donation. Visit Liz's VirginGiving page via the link.

After the walk Liz said,
"The actual distance was 10.8 miles, or 24,644 steps, and took me 3 hours and 9 minutes. It was a personal challenge for me and I did feel every mile, but the scenery in The New Forest was as always breathtaking and it was enjoyable and worthwhile with a great sense of achievement. It is rare these days to feel that you have achieved anything, so it will  definitely be a day to remember."

Thank you so much Liz for stepping out for us.
UPDATE: Liz's total is growing! It is now more than £700

Orpington Meet Up has also been fundraising for PMRGCAuk week and raised almost £300 in two hours at their recent coffee morning.

Jacky Jones baked cakes (including a Betty Crocker cake) for her colleagues at work and raised funds for PMRGCAuk week.
