Canoe Challenge Birmingham to Worcester

Posted: 7 March 2019

7th to 9th May 2019

Eileen Allcock is a 78 year old great grandmother from Malvern, who suffers from both PMR and GCA.

Eileen, with her husband Ken, is preparing to paddle 30 miles along the Birmingham to Worcester canal to raise awareness of both conditions and funds in aid of PMRGCAuk. That's 30 miles, in 3 days, with 57 locks and 5 tunnels as obstables.  This canal also has one of the largest lock flights in Europe - the 30 Tardebigge Locks that climes 428 feet.  Luckily Eileen and Ken will be going down this (carrying their canoe, not navigating each lock).

If you would like to donate to Eileen's page, please go to her fundraising page
