The Stag theatre, SevenoaksThe Sevenoaks group is merging with Orpington Support Group.
Orpington support group meets in a comfortable room in St Paul's Church, Crofton Road on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Meetings are interesting and varied. They include speakers - in January a consultant rheumatologist, in February a Nordic pole walking trainer. In March we had an awareness stand in the entrance of Orpington NHS Hospital to create awareness amongst the general public and the medical staff.
We have facilities in our room, the Victor Childs Room, that allow us to watch videos of some of the Rheuma Research Roadshow speakers (consultants and researchers). The information we get from these is always a good basis for discussion.
Orpington Support Group is friendly and welcoming; some come on their own, some with a friend or a partner. We are keen that everyone who is affected by these two conditions can benefit from sharing the journey. So please get in touch and come and join us. Members come from Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Dartford.
Please email to book in or to find out more about the group. Details of the meeting place, parking and access are on the Orpington Group page.
If you are interested in setting up and running a Support Group in Kent or a Meet Up (usually held in a more informal setting with just a few people) please contact or email
