The highlights of our current issue would be our AGM and Members' Day meeting in London which was attended by over 60 people this year. There are a couple of interesting articles on health and  diet as well as clinical development. Also, PMR has hit the Royal Family (see page 1) and how you can join the Carrots Night Walk this September!

Great news - PMRGCAuk is growing! We have a brand new support group in the North West region! This issue has relevant information on updating the BSR guidelines where two of our Support Group leaders are involved. We have also added information about our successful online community and many more information on upcoming events.

Our latest issue includes an article about our participation at the BSR Rheumatology 2012 as well as the EULAR conferences. This is our first issue where charity PMR and GCA Scotland will have a dedicated page in our publication (see page 6). We organised our AGM and Members' Day in June, the article provides information on the activities that this charity is involved and the challenges to face in the future. On page 7, we have written about some hints and tips on how to cope with daily housework while suffering from both conditions. Our last page gives information on upcoming events such as the PMR & GCA Symposium in November (see page 8).

This issue includes a very interesting article about being diagnosed with PMR/GCA when you are in your 50s. Our 'Focus on' section tells the story about PMR-GCA Scotland. On page 7, we have included an article which looks at the 'right food' to eat while dealing with an inflammatory condition. Our current issue also mentions about some great donations we have received in the past few months.
