ROYAL GREENWICH

by Frances Treanor

PRINT (digital), Mounted, UNFRAMED, Size A5

Several prints were produced in various sizes to celebrate the end of the artist's year in the park as First Artist in Residence Royal Greenwich Park 2005- 6. The small A5 print was based on an original large collage painting (60insx42ins) which was on display as part of a solo exhibition for a month at the Stephen Lawrence Gallery, Queen's Anne's House (part of the University of Greenwich)

The original painting is a large paper collage assemblage of images around Greenwich Royal Park: the National Maritime Museum/ The Old Naval College/Sir Christopher Wren's twin -domed building and the Old Flamstead House Observatory and the new Physical Observatory.

NB: It is possible to view, from her website, the artist actually standing next to the painting at the private view (under the title EXHIBITIONS)  www.francestreanor.com
