AGM and Members' Day 2017

OUR 2017 MEMBERS’ DAY AND AGM ON 9th SEPTEMBER WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

As in previous years, the day started with our charity AGM after which we held our Members’ Day, which provided the opportunity to hear from three excellent speakers, have a chat and share experiences over lunch and take part in small group discussions.

OUR SPEAKERS WERE

Dr Jo Robson

Jo is a Consultant Senior Lecturer in Rheumatology at the University of the West of England, Bristol. She has a specialist research and clinical interest in Giant Cell Arteritis, in particular patient focused research and outcome measures. Jo is leading the international development of a patient reported outcome measure for patients with GCA.

Anne O’Brien

Anne is a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and the Director of Learning and Teaching in the School of Health and Rehabilitation at Keele University. Her current research focus is on the physiotherapy assessment and management of patients with Polymyalgia Rheumatica and she is involved in the development and validation of a patient reported experience measure (PREM) for patients with rheumatic conditions.
