AGM and Members' Day 2017

Members’ Day & Annual General Meeting
Saturday 9th September 2017, 11am – 4pm

We cordially invite all members to attend PMRGCAuk’s Members’ Day which will includes our AGM. Members’ Day is a participative event for members and friends of PMRGCAuk.

Attendance at Members’ Day is be free of charge; however we request a contribution of £10 towards venue costs, buffet lunch and refreshments.  During the day, we’ll be hearing from specialist speakers, taking part in small group discussions and above all, getting to know others who are living with PMR and/or GCA.

You are very welcome to bring friends or family with you. They don’t need to join as members of the charity, although we do please ask them to register and contribute £10 per person towards costs.


Once again our Members' Day will be held at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), Regent's Wharf, 8 All Saints Street, London, N1 9RL

* You can pay by cheque payable to PMRGCAuk and posted in advance to BM PMRGCAuk, London WC1N 3XX. We would be very grateful if you could pay in advance if you can, as this will help streamline the registration process on the day – but you can also pay by cash or cheque at the event. 

NB. We will e-mail draft accounts/annual report to members providing an e-mail address at least 7 days before the event.


Dr Jo Robson

Jo is a Consultant Senior Lecturer in Rheumatology at the University of the West of England, Bristol. She has a specialist research and clinical interest in Giant Cell Arteritis, in particular patient focused research and outcome measures. Jo is leading the international development of a patient reported outcome measure for patients with GCA.

Anne O’Brien

Anne is a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and the Director of Learning and Teaching in the School of Health and Rehabilitation at Keele University. Her current research focus is on the physiotherapy assessment and management of patients with Polymyalgia Rheumatica and she is involved in the development and validation of a patient reported experience measure (PREM) for patients with rheumatic conditions.
